Lee died this afternoon. His beloved, Sandra, was able to be there with him in his final moments.
O God of grace and glory, we remember our brother, Lee, who is now in Your eternal presence. We thank You for giving him to us to know and to love as a friend on our earthly pilgrimage. In Your boundless compassion, console us, most especially Sandra, Jennifer, Clayton, and Kelly, in this time of sorrow. Give us faith to see that death is the gate of eternal life so that in quiet confidence we may continue our course on earth until by Your call we are reunited with those who in saving faith have gone before us; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
