    How I love the 23rd Psalm. I wish we recited this in church services from time to time so all could memorize. A perfect comfort during trying times to go along with the Lord’s Prayer….

    1. It is such a beautiful Psalm. I love it, too, and prefer the New/King James Version of it. That was how I learned it as a kid. I like your idea, Kareen, especially the consistency for the sake of learning this Psalm by heart. It’s something I’ll consider. I don’t love the idea of taking away from the assigned Psalm or Introit for a given Sunday service, since they’ve been carefully selected over the centuries to enrich that day’s theme; however, I would be quicker to go with a Psalm for an entire month, instead of a given week, for the Congregation @ Prayer.
