Confessional
We unconditionally subscribe to the chief articles of faith as expressed in the 1580 Book of Concord, because they are in accord with the Word of God. The summary of the chief articles of the faith are found in the Six Chief Parts of the Small Catechism.
Sacramental
Holy Baptism is God’s work, not man’s. It unites the sinner to Christ, incorporating him into the kingdom of heaven. (Mark 16:16; 1 Peter 3:21; John 3:5)
Confession is for restoring & comforting penitent sinners. (John 21:22-23)
The Sacrament of the Altar is where Christ is truly, supernaturally, and mysteriously present in His entire person – even physically – for the forgiveness of our sins and the strengthening of our faith in Him. (1 Corinthians 11:23-32; 1 Corinthians 10:16-21)
Liturgically Traditional
Historical. Reverent. Orderly. Formal.
Hymnal-Based
No screens (sorry, not sorry!) Drenched in Scripture, our printed order of service and our hymns are not just “how we worship”, but they instruct us and lead us in the beauty of faith in Christ.
